Hi, I'm Anna!
As a parent of a child with special needs and a history of trauma, I've felt the pain, fear, and frustration that comes with trying to meet unique needs in everyday spaces.
I've spent countless late nights Googling, scrolling Facebook support groups, and talking to all. the. therapists—hoping to find that one magic tip that would change everything. Something that would help her teachers see all of her—not just the behaviors. Something that would help her feel truly seen and understood at church.
Along the way, I found a lot of advice. Some of it was incredibly helpful. Some… not so much.
After a particularly tough year navigating the IEP table and church inclusion, I knew things had to change—not just for us, but for other families too.
